INSIDE: Curious about Swedish dishcloths? Here’s how they clean better, last longer, and simplify your kitchen routine—plus why I’m obsessed with them. What? What did I just say? Yes…..Swedish dishcloths…..haven’t heard of them. SHAME! But really don’t worry, I will enlighten you. Paperless Fast drying Reusable No STINK This brand is simply amazing. I have used many of their products and LOVE everyone of them. Disclosure Statement: The links in this post contain affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on my link. Those funds help keep this site alive and kickin’ but it doesn’t cost YOU a thing! Click here for the full disclosure. So what ARE Swedish Dishcloths? Swedish dishcloths are ultra-absorbent, reusable cloths made from a blend of wood pulp and cotton. Think of them as the love child of a sponge and a microfiber cloth—but eco-friendly, cute, and actually functional. A single cloth can replace 15–17 rolls of paper towels (yes, rolls!), and it dries fast enough to avoid that gross, smelly-sponge smell we all pretend we don’t have. That’s RIGHT I said REPLACE!!! Why I converted to Swedish Dishcloths Don’t forget to share the social love – Come follow us on Pinterest, Facebook, TikTok and Insta. AND now on YouTube!!! How to use them in your daily routine How long do they really last? Most last up to 6 months, depending on how often they’re used. Mine get a heavy workout, so I rotate a few at a time. When they finally can no longer be used, you can compost them—if you are so inclined. ACTIVE brand recommends changing them up every couple months, but can last longer with proper care. What, you may ask, is proper care? You can throw them in the dishwasher, washing machine or hand wash them….they still don’t stink….unlike sponges or washcloths. Swedish Dishcloths – Worth It or Not? Short answer – YES! They’ve simplified my cleaning routine, cut down on paper towel costs, and made my kitchen feel cleaner with less effort. In a life already full of chaos, they make me feel more in control of the cleanliness and less overwhelmed by the mess. Small Tool = Big Difference I didn’t expect that these little things would make such a big difference in my life…ALAS….here we are. Swedish dishcloths might be small, but they be mighty! Each one helps make everyday messes quicker, easier, and a whole lot less chaotic to clean up. And when you’re trying to run a household, work, raise humans, and stay semi-sane? Every tiny shortcut helps. NOW – do you want a give them a try??? Click here to get the cute colors in bulk. Happy Cleaning ,

INSIDE: COME LEARN HOW TO CLEAN YOUR COUNTERTOP ICE MACHINE USING OUR EASY STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE Do you have a countertop ice machine? Have you been thinking about purchasing one but reading the reviews has you scared to clean it? Well fear not! I’ve got you covered!!! A few years ago, I purchased this counter top ice machine for the office. We all LOVE the nugget ice (commonly found at Sonic or Chick Fil A) and I thought this would make everyone happy. However, it is quiet a chore to clean it. Even when you follow manufacturers recommendations, it leaves a strange film behind. Disclosure Statement: The links in this post contain affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on my link. Those funds help keep this site alive and kickin’ but it doesn’t cost YOU a thing! Click here for the full disclosure. So I decided to try this out Here is where we start To be clear, we use Brita filtered water and some of this film is from the charcoal left by the Brita filter. Our ice is not black, brown or otherwise gross looking. First We empty the machine of ice. I just took the ice basket out and dumped it. Second Empty the tubes in the back of the machine that hold the recycled water. Third I cleaned the basket with Dawn dish soap. Because of the amount of charcoal, I ran another plain water cycle through the tubes. Cleaner Round Filled it back up with water, dropped in the tablet of Active Ice Maker Cleaner per instructions. Then I ran 3 cycles of ‘self clean.’ Emptied that water through the tubes. Two more cycles of clean water, and we were ready for ice again! I was amazed at how well this worked!!! It took me about 20 minutes to do all of this and the ice just tastes better! Happy Cleaning,

INSIDE: Discover how a family hub can simplify your busy life. Learn how to streamline schedules, track tasks, and keep your household organized with ease. Remember when COVID happened and the kids were at home for 2 months doing home school…and then when they were allowed to go back, it was part time? Our Family Command Center was the center of the WORLD to us. We revamped it twice….. Here is the current state Disclosure Statement: The links in this post contain affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on my link. Those funds help keep this site alive and kickin’ but it doesn’t cost YOU a thing! Click here for the full disclosure. Now that we have one less kid in the house AND 2 teenagers, we need to change our method. Since technology is the way to my kids’ hearts, we will add some of that in here. Since this was a BIG job, I decided to do ALL the steps for each portion – Top cabinet, countertop and drawer, and bottom cabinet. TOP CABINET 1 – PURGE I removed everything from the cabinet – HOLY CANNOLI….how do I keep ending up here? This isn’t everything either. The things that needed a new home ended up on the kitchen table… 2 – CLEAN With my favorite Mrs. Meyers, I cleaned all the cabinet shelves. I also took the opportunity to change the levels of the shelves, I knew one of my new gadgets was taller than the current levels. 3 – ORGANIZE I’m getting older and my medication needs have increased. The mesh organizer was not really cutting it anymore. I have thousands of bandaids….misplaced playing and celebration cards, keepsakes, none of that needed to be in here. So I found new homes for some of these items and the others….well, they got new homes too, but only superficially. Organizing all our medications with the Cabinet Caddy was a game changer. Don’t forget to share the social love – Come follow us on Pinterest, Facebook, TikTok and Insta. AND now on YouTube!!! COUNTER TOP AND DRAWER 1 – PURGE Surprisingly, I only had one grocery bag of trash from here…..wait until you see the difference organization makes. There is not a lot of stuff in here, just poorly managed and CHAOTIC!!! 2 – CLEAN Got out the handy dandy Dyson, vacuumed up all the crumbs then washed it all off with Mrs. Meyers. The counter top got a wipe down, it was a little dusty. 3 – ORGANIZE We don’t need the file folders anymore. The kids are more responsible with school needs. The only thing being kept in that holder is old school pictures. So we are moving our family forward… Remember when I told you about the electronic/technology fueled family? That means, we have a lot of devices. Phones, iPads, and even laptops…..all can fit in this handy charging hub. All of the old organizers were warped….good thing I planned for this ahead of time. My last Target run, I grabbed these drawer organizers to use in my bathroom drawers, but I only used 2 of them there. They were perfect for this drawer! Keeping like things together, I organized the drawer to fit our current needs. We use a lot of batteries – Xbox and wireless everything – so it is very important to keep these organized…..then we know when we need to replace them. BOTTOM CABINET 1 – PURGE I don’t know why I have kept many of these things….get rid of them! 2 – CLEAN Again, Dyson helped me clear out the crumbs then Mrs. Meyers finished the job. 3 – ORGANIZE AND LAST, but my goodness, not least… We had a major malfunction in our fridge just before Christmas, there was a constant puddle underneath it. No one could figure out why……so we went shopping. There were 2 to pick from – Ultimately, the Samsung offered more of what we wanted. PLUS remember when I told you the kids are technology inclined? This “Family Hub” helped me get rid of more clutter from the counter tops and streamline our Family Hub/Command Center. Why this is important to our family is – TEENAGERS! The girls can add important dates to the calendar, add to the grocery list, and make us drawing that don’t require paper. Plus, I can leave them a list of chores…that’s the BEST part…. BEHOLD, our new Family Hub. The fridge even comes with an app – I can see what is in there from work or the store….most importantly, before I go “NOT” shopping. Happy Organizing,

INSIDE: MY SECOND ATTEMPT AT PANTRY ORGANIZATION. FOLLOW ALONG FOR MY NEW PANTRY MAKEOVER: YOU CAN TRANSFORM YOUR SPACE WITH STYLE AND FUNCTIONALITY You ever develop a plan to stay organized and it falls apart? I put my hands up……………..and they stay there………………………..ALL.THE.TIME!!!!!!!!! I have reorganized my pantry MANY times. Check out this post for the first go round. Disclosure Statement: The links in this post contain affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on my link. Those funds help keep this site alive and kickin’ but it doesn’t cost YOU a thing! Click here for the full disclosure. While this worked for a long time, things have changed for us. I think it’s because the children aren’t children anymore. They are teenagers……….they are messy and you can hide NOTHING from them. Here is the current state…..complete chaos!!! As you can see I’ve tried in the past. Evidenced by containers that “sort of” look the same. I decided that I would like uniform looking baskets for a more cohesive pantry. Using my reward points at The Container Store, I was able to get a great deal on these items. I also grabbed small versions of the same found here and small thin bins found here. Don’t forget to share the social love – Come follow us on Pinterest, Facebook, TikTok and Insta. AND now on YouTube!!! As all organizing adventures, start here PURGE Empty all of the contents of your pantry. Take them out of the previous bins. Check dates, expired items should be thrown away. Depending on what you keep in there, you can donate certain things if expired. I recently cleaned out my corner cabinet and found out there are guidelines to expired foods. Check it out here. Throw away anything you won’t use or eat. I found several things I forgot I had – like a pretzel kit from Pampered Chef…..we shall be making this on my next day off!!!! Clean I don’t know if you remember my Laundry Room Makeover, but I strongly dislike the builder’s grade wire shelves. However, I am not trying to replace them in the pantry. Instead, I wiped everything with Mrs. Meyers. I decided there was something I could do to make it a little better. Enter plastic shelf liner to keep it clean AND prevent things from falling through. Organize That’s right, say it with me……My FAVORITE part! I did not take a picture of what the contents of my pantry looked like outside of the pantry……..mainly because I was so overwhelmed I just needed to start somewhere. I removed the boxes that I could – Next, I put like things together on the counter. I realized that I could go back to the original idea (a little) and make each shelf specific to it’s contents. Breakfast, snacks, dinner, etc. The “extras” bin I had previously were a silly idea. I couldn’t see what was in them. Well, guess what? I have 3 bottles of rice vinegar……..I don’t even know why…….. Now with the clear bins, I can see what I have extra of and plan NON-shopping trips much easier. This is where I ended up. Like my new pantry? I’m super excited to see how long we can keep it like this! Happy Organizing,

INSIDE: LEARN HOW TO ORGANIZE YOUR CORNER KITCHEN CABINET WITH A LAZY SUSAN Isn’t she lovely? Isn’t she wonderful? Yes, whoever invented the Lazy Susan (or in my case Lazy Daisy) was pure genius. The corner cabinets are usually underutilized because they have empty space. They end up being deep cabinets that no one can reach into or the builder blocks them off. Disclosure Statement: The links in this post contain affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on my link. Those funds help keep this site alive and kickin’ but it doesn’t cost YOU a thing! Click here for the full disclosure. I love this thing. The space is fully used, it cleans easily, and anything can be stored in it. If you have a Lazy Susan, you can store: Mine is a smorgasbord of things that didn’t have another home……………there is method to the madness though. Not very organized but method is there. Current State I have always used it in this way so I’m not changing it now. Don’t forget to share the social love – Come follow us on Pinterest, Facebook, TikTok and Insta. AND now on YouTube!!! As with all organizing journeys, start here 1 – Purge Pull everything out. Once everything is on the counter, use this time to check expiration dates. I’m not sure how you feel about this…..but I don’t like expired canned goods living in my house. Is it really NON-perishable? If so, then why does it have an expiration date? Technically it’s a “best by” date, but stillllllllll…………….. I went on a fact finding mission for all of us on this one. Turns out, frozen and shelf-stable (canned) foods are safe WAY past their best by date. The big deal is quality – it may change the flavor or make it stale but it is still edible. Check out this article by the USDA explaining all of this for us foolish food wasters. Not gonna lie – I was wondering why all those Doomsday Prep folks stocked up on these thing….NOW I know and so can you. 2 – Clean Y’all this was dirty. Mrs. Meyers wasn’t going to be enough. Good thing I got this great gadget for Christmas -actually mine sold out but this is almost identical – hand held steamer found here. After following the manufacturers recommendations, I steamed cleaned the shelving and wiped with Mrs. Meyers. Look at this thing of beauty 3 – Organize My favorite part!!!!!! Keeping like things together but it has to make sense to you and your family. I saw these cute bins that would fit perfectly in the Lazy Susan. But I only ordered one set to make sure I liked them and they made sense………turns out I only wanted the top to have them anyway. Fortunately, I was able to reuse some of the weave containers from my pantry makeover on the bottom shelf. I also moved the Halloween/Christmas candy off the counter-top and put it in here. Here is the after Do you have a Lazy Susan in your corner cabinet? How do you use yours? Happy Organizing,

INSIDE: How to deep clean your fridge and keep it organized. Learn effective steps to prevent odors, maximize space, and ensure food safety. Do you ever open your fridge and think “How did we get here?” Once in a Lifetime……Wait that’s the Talking Heads… Chances are if you are having these thoughts, your fridge looks like mine right now…..it’s ok, let’s fix this together. Disclosure Statement: The links in this post contain affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on my link. Those funds help keep this site alive and kickin’ but it doesn’t cost YOU a thing! Click here for the full disclosure. I have a side by side fridge/freezer combo. But these hacks would apply to any fridge. Let’s start here REMOVE First things first, remove contents of the fridge and place them on the counter. BUT do not do this until you are ready to move fast. You do not want all your perishable items sitting on your counters for an hour…am I right? Also, we previously discussed A GIANT issue with the fridge – DO NOT keep your milk on the door! It is the warmest part of your fridge. I found 2 of the same types of mustard……this means we didn’t look before we bought one. Oops….but still it’s food waste and I hate it. PURGE Calculate your dates before removing items. Basically you just need to know what today is. If you are throwing something away and you know you need it soon, add it to your “not” shopping list. Maybe it isn’t outdated yet – in this case, mark the container so you don’t forget to remove it when it does expire. How about all the leftovers? Or the half drank bottles of soda? Or the take out that isn’t going to get eaten? CLEAN We are deep cleaning, so if you can remove your drawers or shelves, do it. You want to wash everything in warm, soapy water. Make sure to dry thoroughly. While those are drying, take our favorite Mrs. Meyers and wipe down the sides of the fridge and any shelves you can’t remove. When all of this is done, take a long hard look and decide if you want to add shelf protectors. These can be in the form of pre-cut liners, non-slip liners, or place mats that you cut to fit. I decided not to do this. I would rather just wipe the surfaces down, you do you though! Here is the other thing I’ve added. Baking soda does nothing compared to this gadget. ORGANIZE Y’all know this is my favorite part. I have discovered that my previous methods make no sense anymore. My kids are growing up, by that I mean, they have become experts at making BIGGER messes. I found myself daydreaming about new ways to organize our fridge. I even looked on Pinterest for ideas. What I found was nonsense. Taking milk out of its container to put it in a dispenser? Putting everything in clear containers? I just don’t understand…..sure it looks cool but is it practical? Not in my house. So, I decided to take a note from my pantry organization and go with plastic bins. It looks nice, it’s easy to follow, and easy to find things. I hate to say that any mesh organizers I previously had were stolen relocated by some very cute little people. Honestly, I have no idea where they went. So I was forced to start over, fortunately for me, I received a gift card for The Container Store. I wisely used my gift card to purchase the following: Don’t forget to share the social love – Come follow us on Pinterest, Facebook, TikTok and Insta.

INSIDE: How to Deep Clean Your Freezer in 30 minutes with our step-by-step guide. Learn to prevent food waste, eliminate odors, and save money! Need to clean out your freezer? Come join our journey. Let me start by saying, neglecting your freezer can cost you lots of money. I read this incredible article the other day (yes, I know where it is from…..I chose to ignore that and just value the contents) that made me rethink my fridge and freezer. It also led to restarting the weekly meal planning. This post helped me out so much but I couldn’t follow it exactly, as I have picky eaters and these meals will not get eaten in my house. Disclosure Statement: The links in this post contain affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on my link. Those funds help keep this site alive and kickin’ but it doesn’t cost YOU a thing! Click here for the full disclosure. My goal here is not only to reorganize the freezer but also take inventory. What do I have that needs to be used before I buy anything else? Let’s get started Before we go any further, let’s share the social love – Come follow us on Pinterest, Facebook, TikTok and Insta. REMOVE Because these are FROZEN items, they usually should stay frozen…right? To assist me in keeping things frozen I got out one of our Yeti coolers, although I had to promise not to “ruin” it. PURGE While you are removing items, look at what you are touching. Do you remember when you put it in there? Does it have freezer burn already? Was it left open? Will you eat it? Do you want to know what I found in my freezer? A plastic dish of snow….or at least I was told and it was saved from our last snow “storm.” This would have been 2-ish years ago….shows you how often I go through this mess. I threw away so much food, I wanted to cry! Expired veggies, meat, and ice cream. But I was able to see what I could use AND NEEDED to use! INVENTORY Anything you need or want to throw out, place on your “not” shopping list. Make a list of what you kept, so you can use it in your meal planning. Try using this list to help you along. CLEAN Once everything is removed, I recommend turning up the temperature on the freezer. It will be easier to clean the shelves, drawers, and walls once the ice has been removed. This made me realize a few things – I really don’t like the wire shelves in here, but the seem to stay cleaner than the actually shelves. AND I hate where the ice maker is located. Oh well, can’t change that. ORGANIZE Yes, yes…..we all know…..it’s my favorite part. Most important part of this process is to keep like things together. THINK: Meats, Veggies, fruits, desserts together. I’m not sure about you but this is one place I will take food out of it’s original packaging. Meat comes packaged in those Styrofoam/plastic wraps, this is not going to protect it from freezing temperatures. However, I am not going to buy 100 plastic containers to use in the freezer. Instead, I use freezer safe Ziplock bags! Some of the bonuses to this method are getting all the air out, flatten out bags, puncture proof, and expandable bottoms. You can also write dates and names on them. Can’t figure out how to organize these flat bags? Check this out. I used the above container to sort meats – pork together, beef together. And because I have those pesky wire shelves, this helped keep everything on a shelf without sliding through. Ready to see the AFTERS?? This will help us know what we have on hand and hopefully not order things we don’t need. For our freezer, it makes more sense to put the veggies on the door. Some of the boxed items also ended up on the door to make room for bigger things in the main compartment. Here are the side by side before and afters: I feel good about this one. Whatcha think? You like? You want to do it? Need help getting started?

INSIDE: COUNTER TOPS FULL OF CLUTTER? CHECK OUT HOW TO CLEAR YOUR KITCHEN COUNTER FROM CLUTTER FOR GOOD! Oh kitchen, how I love you….you are the main gathering point of every home. You are also the main drop off point for all junk! Kids papers, mail, Amazon boxes, back packs, work bags, and anything else you can think of…..it all gathers. AND makes a giant mess. My goal for this summer is to create a less cluttered kitchen by minimizing counter top clutter and reorganize drawers and cabinets (again). I know, I know……..how many times am I going to do this? Honestly, there are a few drawers I have never fixed and I just need to neaten the rest. See the drawer transformations in this post. Here is where my counters start OK – first order of business, like every organizing journey, start here – PURGE Have counter top appliances you don’t use? How about ones you use once every 2-3 months? Let’s get real – do you use it at all? If you don’t, give it away, have a yard sale, or donate it to your local community kitchen. Use it rarely, hide it. Put it under a cabinet, in the pantry, or above your fridge. OR do you use it every day? If so, keep it on the counter. CLEAN If you are going to take away the clutter, you should probably clean the counter tops while you are at it. Of course, use the best cleaning spray ever – Mrs. Meyers. Since you have the supplies out, clean the appliances too. ORGANIZE This is where the hard FUN work starts. Here are some ideas to help get your chaos in order 1 – Coffee Containment I don’t know about you, but the coffee maker in this house is used daily. Usually more than once, therefore it is front and center. If I’m being real, it really depends on if you use coffee grounds or Keurig on how to organize this area. Check out this post to see how we manage it. Here are several great ideas to organize your coffee bar/area. 2 – Utensil Storage Does it really have to be in a giant cup on the counter? I don’t think so, find a drawer to fit these in. See this post and I would love to give you other ideas, but everything I see on Pinterest is JUST NOT realistic. I did find this post that may help, if you are willing to remain realistic. 3 – Dish Soap Caddy There are many different ways to corral sponges, dish soap, and produce scrubbers. We use something similar to this But this post has several other options. This is the easiest way to keep the area around your kitchen sink clutter free. Do you have another way? Let us see what you do to keep your sink clutter free. 4 – Family Command Center Need to figure out how to make sense of all those papers? Mail, magazines, kids papers, and all sorts of other bundles of havoc? Check out this post on how we manage that. Here are several ideas to help you along in your journey as well. Don’t forget that your junk drawer can be apart of this command center too. 5 – Canisters Do you use flour or sugar every day? Obviously, some people do use sugar daily for their coffee. My suggestion for this would be get a smaller sugar bowl and put the large canister of sugar away. I have had these metal canisters for 16 years (wedding gift) and I’m out growing them. I want clutter free more than I want to keep these visible. My flour wouldn’t fit in anything else, so I kept the canister and moved it to the pantry. The sugar moved to a smaller glass container and found a home in the baking cabinet. The smaller canister had tea – see this post on where they were rehomed. Spaghetti canister – do NOT use…..easy, give it away now (it’s ok you can sing it in your best Red Hot Chili Peppers voice)! I have updated this post to reflect the recent changes. 6 – Small Appliances With the exception of the coffee maker, there are so many appliances that we put on the counter that we don’t need. I’m talking about a toaster, blenders, toaster oven, popcorn maker, Soda Stream, Air Fryer, InstaPot, and Stand Mixer. This is what I want you to think about when deciding if it needs to stay on the counter or not: I relocated my InstaPot to the bottom of my pantry, I don’t use it. There is a cabinet on my island that houses several small appliances, however my stand mixer is also there. We are going to change this. I moved some things around and was able to move 3 appliances into this cabinet by moving the stand mixer. This meant the mixer went on the counter – BUT – I was able to keep it out of the way and make it look a little decorative. I found this stand mixer slider to make it easier to move, and use, which might mean I do more baking? We’ll see. New counter tops I moved several items to different sides of the counter to make it more cohesive. My cup cabinet does not fit the larger tumblers or tallest water bottles. To keep the tumblers from running the kitchen, I invested in this cool little corral. The Soda Stream moved closer to the necessary bottles. The toaster moved next to the bread box. And the other appliances were placed out of sight, except the Air-fryer, which is used several times a week (the smallest kiddo uses it for her snacks). Ours is OLD and no longer in production – but it is similar to this one. Now for the before and afters: How did you do with your counter top clutter? Happy Organizing,

INSIDE: SEE HOW WE ORGANIZE OUR KITCHEN WITH THE LATEST HOW TO…THIS EPISODE IS HOW TO ORGANIZE KITCHEN DRAWERS We all have drawers in our kitchens correct? Some have silverware, some have measuring cups, odd and end gadgets, and spatulas. BUT………. Are those drawers out of control? Mine are…..they are OUT OF CONTROL!!!! I was looking through some Pinterest posts and realized (again) that no one LIVES like this. I appreciate transparency, I hope you do too. It’s not always pretty but it’s reality. That’s the whole point of this thing – I’m a real person and so are you. If I can do it, so can you. Make sense? Disclosure Statement: The links in this post contain affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on my link. Those funds help keep this site alive and kickin’ but it doesn’t cost YOU a thing! Click here for the full disclosure. This is where I’m starting…..how about you? These are my utility drawers. It is hard to find what you need, without getting injured. Just like with all organizing projects, we start with the basics. PURGE Take everything out of the drawer in question. Purge the unnecessary items. I don’t know about you, but I don’t need 2 measuring cup sets. I haven’t used the mango cutter like EVER. Those were placed in a donation box. CLEAN With these drawers, crumbs can fall anywhere and everywhere. I suggest vacuuming the crumbs out, those suckers can be tricky. Then, as usual, clean with my fave – Mrs. Meyers. ORGANIZE This is my favorite part. I have several organizers but they are not working for me. So I went to the The Container Store and found some amazing drawer organizers. The problem is – not all of them fit my drawers. This is where you need to be careful – measure or be prepared to play tetris with your drawers. I decided to stick to simple organizers and play tetris, it was a favorite game of mine. This was my second choice but it wasn’t going to fit in my drawers, I love the idea though. These are also a great idea, they have nonslip pads to prevent shifting during opening and closing of the drawer. REPLACE Keep like things together and make sure it makes sense to you, or the cook in your house. Here are the final products: How did yours turn out? I’m happy with mine….we’ll see how long they stay this way! Happy Organizing,

INSIDE: UNDER THE KITCHEN SINK DO-OVER. I MADE CRITICAL MISTAKES AND NOW I AM READY TO CORRECT THEM. COME SEE HOW I REDO UNDER THE KITCHEN SINK TO MAKE IT MORE USER FRIENDLY AND ORGANIZED. I wrote a post about organizing under my kitchen sink a few years ago. Well, it failed. Failed! Honestly, it was better than it was before but I’ve become a better organizer so….I am going to show you a better way to organize under the kitchen sink. First, let me show you how it was before I did anything: Disclosure Statement: The links in this post contain affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on my link. Those funds help keep this site alive and kickin’ but it doesn’t cost YOU a thing! Click here for the full disclosure. Then we got this one: It’s not much different present day. However, we have let things go wild. There were two and three of the same bottles…. How did this happen? Easy answer – I pushed things into the back and couldn’t see them anymore. So I bought more…. Well, the other day I went to get a bottle from the back and it had this blue gooey stuff all over it. I figured I should probably investigate. So today – I emptied the cabinet and found this: Clearly something fell over and I didn’t know it until now. Ok, let’s focus on how to make this better. What you need: First Take all of your stuff out from under the sink. I put all of them in the sink and ran some hot water to rinse them off. Second Remove old contact paper, if you had some. Clean the cabinet with Mrs. Meyers. Replace with new contact paper if desired. I highly recommend this because gross stuff happens under here and removing contact paper is WAY easier than elbow grease! Third Put your new shelf organizers in the place you want them. These new organizers are much friendlier to the layout of my cabinet. You can place them wherever it is convenient for you. Finally Replace your merged stuff into the cabinet. Keep like things together. Maybe you will come up with something like this: I put all my extra sponges in the plastic bin to keep them tamed and then I know how many I have at all times. I decided to use the shelf organizer to hold the garage bags in place. Personally, I think this is a much better under the sink organization. What do you think? Happy Organizing,
