Follow our easy step-by-step guide to create an unique and eco-friendly Easter decoration. Perfect for a fun and sustainable holiday craft! Check out our DIY Easter upcycling project. Supplies There a bunch of paint samples in my garage from various different things and I either never used them, or I didn’t use all of them. I am amazed at all the colors I found. I let my youngest kiddo pick the color to use on this project. She didn’t even hesitate….PINK! The pot was sitting in the garage BUT……if you need one, find one like this – Check out how you can order online and pick up in store…… Directions I have vision of putting a stuffed bunny upside down in this pot, but I don’t have a way to keep him from falling in right now. I will think of something. For now it will hang out on the console table at the front door. Happy Crafting,

CHEERY, BRIGHT COLORS TO MAKE EVERYONE FEEL BETTER ABOUT BEING AT HOME MORE THAN USUAL! It’s time to take down the St. Patty’s decorations….while I don’t think a single person celebrated St. Patrick’s special day…..let’s get ready for Easter. Warmer weather is on the way and hopefully good news on the horizon. I’m thinking that these bright colors will lift everyone’s spirits! Last year, we used the console table and the kitchen table to make the most of our decorating pleasures. Here is last year’s decor – This year, I have gathered all of my brightest flowers, table toppers, and candles and decided that I am going to try to decorate for Easter a little different. Let’s start with what I have on hand. Because there will be no traveling to our favorite craft store, dollar store, or even shopping online…… Current supplies Spring flowers (fake ones) Vases Table runners x2 Easter Egg trees But I need new decor…..I have paint, terracotta pots, and a Cricut….hmmmmm. I’m getting an idea….we will get to that in a minute. Once I had my decorations out, I realized that I had a few things that I didn’t use last year and some things that I can move around. Since the console table just got a makeover, I was excited to use it for some more decoration. First, I put my Easter/Spring table runner there and started to put together the decorations. The tulips stayed in the vase from last year and added the kid’s craft from last year. I didn’t display it last year, so this was a great way to get that cutie thing out there! I added a terracotta pot that we painted. Want to see how I did that? I’ll show you here. I love my Dr. Seuss like Easter Egg sprays.….. And of course, no Easter/Spring decorating adventure is complete without a GIANT flower arrangement! Flowers are like paint – they can make a huge difference with little effort. Our mantle also gets a pretty makeover during most holidays. This year, I kept the Easter decor simple here. The last thing I did was add the last table runner to the kitchen table. I wish I could snag a picture but there are busy children doing e-Learning there right now. And we cannot disrupt that process…. So even though I couldn’t go get the millions of things I wanted at the store…I made the most of my time. The bright colors cheered everyone up….OH I almost forgot, I put an Easter wreath on the door so my neighbors could feel festive too. What is your favorite time of year to decorate? Do you go overboard for any of them? Happy Decorating,

INSIDE: COME CHECK OUT SOME EASY DECORATING IDEAS FOR A FESTIVE EASTER IN 2019 WITHOUT LOSING YOUR WALLET. Time for the pastel fairies to torture us all. Pinks and purples, robin egg blue and bright yellow…. BUT how happy it makes everyone – the darkness is going and the warmth is coming! Disclosure Statement: The links in this post contain affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on my link. Those funds help keep this site alive and kickin’ but it doesn’t cost YOU a thing! Click here for the full disclosure. Kitchen Table The center of our universe, the kitchen table…I mentioned when decorating for Christmas that I don’t usually do much with this area. But apparently I have done it for Easter before because I found this runner in my arsenal. The Easter egg tree was purchased at a discount craft store years ago, but this one is similar. I love it because I can push and pull the branches out to make it look however I want. I changed the middle candle to a light blue to match the runner. It is another small change to make a big difference with little effort. Entryway Table The entryway table, or my new decorating area, got a little makeover. I found this runner at a craft store and thought, it could stay all Spring, not just Easter. The tall Easter egg branches were too tall to put in my normal vase, so I used the more sturdy one from the mantle. I replaced the green clover bunches with the tulips from Valentines Day decor…since tulips are in bloom right now!! The littlest munchkin saw these branches and said “oh Mom, we HAVE to have these!” It was 50% off all floral items, so we scored these for $4 a piece. I think they look darn good in that vase too! Front Door As usual, front door gets a wreath or sign to let the neighbors know…we are festive! This might be one of my favorite door hangers. I bought it years ago and have taken such good care of it because I’ve never seen another one like it. I just hope the birds don’t get confused and lay their eggs in there. One year, a bird made her nest in our newspaper box under the mailbox. When the eggs hatched, we got dive-bombed every time we went to get the mail. I love tulips and apparently my kids do too. So I will plant these bulbs somewhere when they are done blooming. I should investigate how to do this….. Have fun with your festive decorating, it can make you feel like you’ve accomplished something, without overwhelming you and the kids like to know what is coming next! Happy decorating,
