New St. Patty’s Day Decoration

Last year when decorating for St. Patty’s Day I kept it simple and threw some flowers in a vase. This year…I’m doing something different. Welcome to the 2020 version of St. Patty’s Day decoration. Do you decorate for St. Patty’s Day? What do you do to spread the St. Patty’s love? With my console table now made over, I was able to take on some new decorating choices. Last year’s decor – To start with, I grabbed a new runner. I honestly have no idea where I found mine, but this one is similar. Here is what I found: What did I do with all these goodies? I wrapped the garland around the candles. Easy….. I cut the garland into the pieces I needed. The ends were wires so I was able to twist the ends to keep them in place. I found a candy jar I used in my old office and put some gold coins in it. Then I used my vase with clovers from last year. And of course, my trusty front door sign. I used the same sign as last year. Now, I can drink my green beer and celebrate the Irish holiday! See how easy it is to decorate for each holiday? And it makes my kiddos excited for the next one…..I’m still trying to figure out how I can make Elf on the Shelf last all year long…..I will come up with something. Happy Decorating,

INSIDE : COME SEE HOW TO DECORATE FOR ST. PATRICK’S DAY WITH GREEN AND GOLD! Valentine’s season is over….time to move on. Let’s decorate for St. Patrick’s Day! Three cheers for the Irish! Celebrate St. Patrick and his green beer!!! Oh wait….he did something else….ummm….spread Christianity to Ireland (that’s what Google told me). Anyway, thanks to him we can decorate with green stuff and shamrocks! Hurray! I use the same vases, old fake flowers I’ve collected over the years, and throw a sign on the door to decorate for St. Patrick’s Day. Since St. Patrick’s Day is all about Irish luck, adding some artificial clovers to your decor is an easy way to be festive. This vase had 3-4 bundles of these clovers. These yellow flowers have been in my grips for years. I just added them to this vase and placed them on my console table. And since I love hanging festive decor on my front door, I decided on this door hanger and felt like all my neighbors would know that we were party animals….I mean festive. It took 15 minutes. I put the Valentines decorations away in the shoe closet, put the new decorations out, and called it a day! Think you can do it? Come on….be festive! Happy Decorating,
