INSIDE: Discover creative solutions to organize your bathroom drawers efficiently while maximizing space, decluttering, and creating function. Life in the circus ain’t easy…………… That is how I feel every time I open my bathroom drawers. Seriously, have you ever thought about how much your cluttered bathroom drawers have an impact on your day? Literally you start your day with this: I have to fight with these drawers every morning…….and half of the things I need for daily use are on my countertops. This is just not working for me anymore. Disclosure Statement: The links in this post contain affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on my link. Those funds help keep this site alive and kickin’ but it doesn’t cost YOU a thing! Click here for the full disclosure. I decided that my previous attempts to organize were not terrible but rather ill-managed. AND I have tooooooo much STUFF!!!! If you are in a similar boat, follow along and transform your master bath into a space you can live with; or at least the drawers are. Before we dive in, share the social love – Come follow us on Pinterest, Facebook, TikTok and Insta. AND now on YouTube!!! PURGE Pull everything out, lay it all out there, for everyone to see…and then get rid of what you don’t use, has expired, or you don’t want. I emptied one drawer at a time and by the end of it, I covered my sink and my hubby’s sink….and some of the floor. I didn’t put anything back until I was done, BUT I tried to keep like things near each other. Clean See my newest video showing how my handy dandy Dyson helped me clean up the leftover hair, rubberbands, and whatever else was in there. Video Coming Soon – waiting for the editor to complete the project (youngest child). Organize I had so much fun with this. AND you can too. Want to see all the things I got??? My kids call it a “haul.” The rest of my containers came from HomeGoods – I could wander around that place for hours. I paid $4.99 for each of them. Here is a picture of all my options: It’s also a good picture of what the counters looked like before. Next step, start putting things back one drawer at a time, keeping like things together and being mindful about how often you use them. Here are my afters: Wanna see the side by sides? Me too….I love the changes and they were so easy! I threw away a full garbage bag full of expired, unused, or pointless items. Many things were put where they should have gone to begin with….sock/slippers….don’t belong in the bathroom drawers, am I right? I also had 2 hairdryers, I don’t know why. I only use one, so one was given away (along with some face care items that didn’t work for me). So much more function and I don’t feel like a clown will pop out of the drawer when I open it. How did yours turn out? Happy Organizing,

INSIDE: Need to calm your bathroom chaos? Check out how we simplify a guest bathroom It was brought to my attention that some of our previous makeovers had evolved over the years. The last kid bathroom update was in 2019?? I blame COVID!!!!! COVID gets blamed for a lot of things……I digress……….. Regardless, today I will begin another journey – update the outdated makeovers. First order of business, the jack and jill bathroom. Previously it was home to both girls. The older girl moved to her brother’s old room and no longer shares the bathroom. We made some changes to accommodate the youngest girl’s “style” but it is not inviting for guests. Disclosure Statement: The links in this post contain affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on my link. Those funds help keep this site alive and kickin’ but it doesn’t cost YOU a thing! Click here for the full disclosure. Here is where we start: Y’all I am SOOOOOO embarrassed. My BFF was here a few weeks ago and told me I should check out these cabinets, but I said…..OH I know……NO THE heck I didn’t!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Apparently my sister told me this a year ago…..oops!!) I really had ZERO idea. I thought it was messy, some towels maybe……But this was down right scary! It was one of those “out of site, out of mind” situations, but when I looked at this, I realized I needed to pay more attention cause I have a kid that doesn’t care about messes below the surface – she will hide them all! Let’s get started PURGE Remove all items and sort through what can be saved. Trash what cannot be saved. Wash the numerous towels – if they can be saved. I really can’t figure out what some of these things are…..GROSS! Ultimately I filled up a LARGE trash bag of lord only knows what….seems like there was a lot of chemistry projects; I am so sorry GUESTS! Most of the towels were able to be saved, but those that couldn’t be put on the shelves for human use, we donated to our favorite animal shelter! Clean Start with vacuuming up all the yucky stuff – crumbs, hair, dust. Then, using my fav – Mrs. Meyers – wipe all the surfaces. I brought all the paper towels I could find, I thought I would need them! To be transparent – some of this was so disgusting I thought I wasn’t going to make it…..thankfully most of it was slime. I HATE slime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Including the splatter in the back on the left side. Organize We had a lot of the things we needed from our previous makeover, but we needed more. Guess what we did? We went to all of our favorite places – Target, Amazon, and The Container Store. At Target, we found a much needed plunger with brush. I’m not sure where the old one went; it was probably part of one of those chemistry experiments. We needed some more medium baskets to aid in the under the sink organization. A new 6 peg wall hook to replace the useless towel bar. And a toilet paper organizer so the rouge rolls aren’t thrown around the space. Amazon saved the day with the perfect floating shelves. We never had a towel bar on that side, so the plan was these would double as towel bar and decoration. However, I ordered the wrong size and they were not hung in time for the transformation pictures, I’ll get back to that later. AND The Container Store helped with open storage bins under the sink for stackable storage. The perfect friendly sink organizer for holding all our new decorations. Decorations Decorations were never really done – I think somewhere in the back of my mind I knew that the girls would outgrow ANYTHING I did in there. Well, with the youngest now an almost teenager, I think it’s safe to say we can decorate without fear of “I don’t like this anymore.” Greenery She loves greenery. Trying to stick to that theme, we went shopping at Kirkland’s to find some wall art. Also found a few fake plants at Target. Fixtures Handy Kris to the rescue! He handled the new curtain rod with ease and made it more permanent, just in case anyone wanted to play Simone Biles in the shower, it won’t fall. Paint I am terrible about painting walls, I just don’t like it. Hence why it has taken me 10 years to put color on these walls. BUT this is something that I can do on my own, so I picked a color and painted after work on 2 separate days. Yes, I worked my 8-5 job and came home to paint. The little one helped with the rolling and of course she picked the playlist…..any guesses who had the most songs on that playlist? TS?!?!?! Here is what the final products look like: Before and Afters Our first guests arrived and were shocked at the transformation. Needless to say, it was long overdue. What do you think of the transformation? Tips on how to make a guest bathroom more inviting for them? Happy Decorating,

Disclosure Statement: The links in this post contain affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on my link. Click here for the full disclosure. INSIDE: DURING THE 2020 DECLUTTER CHALLENGE, MARCH IS TOWEL DONATION MONTH. COME SEE HOW WE SUGGEST YOU DO THAT! Times are scary right now, but we cannot forget about our mission of donating needed things to others while we declutter our own homes. During the month of March, clean out those linen closets and kitchen drawers by donating your towels. It’s a perfect time to makeover those linen closets too!!!! Where do we start: Make a list of where you might have some mysterious towels. Linen Closets Laundry Room Pool side Under children’s beds With the animal supplies Kitchen drawers How we decide to keep or donate: Gather all of your bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, and kitchen towels. Once you put them all in one place, you can begin to see how many you have of each. There is no magic number of how many towels you should have but there are some “guidelines.” 2 bath towels, hand towels, and wash clothes per person. Additional 2 sets for potential guests. Do you reuse them for a day or 2? Do you get a new one every day? How often do you wash them? Seasonal towels should not be included in your main count. Thinking of these things will help you narrow down the ones you MUST keep. Other things to consider – Too thin Ratty Smelly Old kid towels that don’t fit anyone anymore Do you have enough room to store them all? Found one with a tear but still pretty useful Turn it into rags. I had one bath towel that was tearing at one seam. So I helped it along, I made 20 rags out of it. If I ever have a need for that many rags, someone please come help me….I will need an intervention if I use all of them!!!! But it was a good way to continue to use a towel that wasn’t completely useless to me. Repurpose Dedicate towels for the animal baths. I should have done this a LONG time ago! I have BIG dogs so I am giving them beach towels – I will put their names on those towels, and everyone has been instructed to use those to dry the boys after a bath or swimming. Donate Towels that don’t serve your purpose anymore, you don’t have room for, or you just don’t like can still be donated. Keep in mind – to donate to other humans….it should be useful. Right? No point in donating if it can’t dry a person….. So if you don’t like it but it still dries, consider donating to homeless shelters or domestic violence shelters. What if it doesn’t dry humans anymore? Easy – donate to an animal shelter. They can use the towels for millions of things including cleaning up spills, small clean up after meds (have you ever tried to vaccinate 6 puppies at once???), and they can dry the animals too. For a list of animal shelters near you – check out this site. Have questions? Ask away…..I’ve done my fair share of donating and volunteering to help animal shelters. Happy Giving,

Last year, I challenged you all to a more organized home….it was a lot to take on, I know! BUT – didn’t it feel great? Well, challenge 2020 is 12 Months of Giving. Disclosure Statement: The links in this post contain affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on my link. Those funds help keep this site alive and kickin’ but it doesn’t cost YOU a thing! Click here for the full disclosure. Declutter your home while donating to those in need. Let’s take each month and challenge ourselves to removing it from our home and giving it to those who need it more. We will start here: January and November – Food Find your local community kitchen using this website – Food Pantries You will find your state and city – each city will have a list of food pantries. Connected to that are websites that instruct you on how to donate. Donations are usually accepted during certain hours and a list of what they DON’T take will be on the site. No donation is too small. The great part about food banks is they give things to people based on their family size. Don’t be afraid to give away ONE can of something you won’t use….someone will use it. The other option is to give to your local homeless shelter. This is a little trickier. They are VERY limited on what they will take because one box of cereal won’t feed everyone…….. February and August – Clothing If you spend each weekend in the month of February and August cleaning out closets and dressers, by the end of the month I am willing to bet you have at LEAST 2 trash bags FULL of unused clothing…in ALL sizes! Here is where some research might be needed on your part for our Challenge 2020 – 12 months of giving. There are plenty of organizations that help get clothing to people in need for cheap. Goodwill stores, Salvation Army, Rescue Missions…..but most of these places CHARGE for the items. If you want totally free – do your homework. Check out this website – Money Crashers – they have a list of nationwide clothing donation sites. March – Towels Donating to a local animal shelter is a good way to offload some of those not so needed towels. You know the ones you got for your wedding that don’t match your style or the 45 extra beach towels that you’ve accumulated over the years. This is an ultimate list of things your local animal shelter always needs: Want to find a NO-KILL shelter to donate to? Check out Best Friends for all the shelters in your area. ***Update – obviously 2020 has become a WAY bigger challenge to most of us than we could have seen when starting this Challenge 2020 – 12 Months of Giving. I did not follow through on several of these months because of this pandemic. BUT – maybe that should be the bigger reason to continue this challenge!!!**** April – Books I know, I know…..how many of you read physical books these days? I know I don’t very often. BUT – there is nothing like having a book on the beach….and I DO live at the beach…so I have some. I’m sure if you thought about it, you do too, especially to continue our Challenge 2020 – 12 months of giving. And then there is the kids……have books they don’t read anymore? Too young for the growing kids? Give them away! Sure you can give them to your friend’s kids….I know I loved when people gave me books for my kiddos. But there are other options too. Check out these places to see if they would like your books: May and December – Toys In this house, we have short attention spans. Meaning – lots of toys we “have to have” for Christmas end up being dust collectors by Spring. So…twice a year I go through bedrooms and the toy/playroom and find a bunch of things that my kids have outgrown. Instead of giving them to Goodwill……are there places that could use them….for free? June – Dishes I know that plates and bowls are not replaced every year, but if you have 5 pie plates? Do you really need them ALL? Or maybe you bought the newest Pampered Chef – if you have that one….why do you need another? July – Personal Hygiene I have this co-worker that takes every hotel shampoo and soap, every time she goes anywhere. She donates those items to our homeless population. AND let me tell you, they are SUPER grateful for those items. How many of you go on trips and bring your own personal care items? I know I do…except maybe body soap. So, is it wrong to take the shampoo and bring it back to our homeless? I don’t think so. So where can you donate personal care items? Let’s check it out: September – Home Decor If you can’t find a way to upcycle your furniture for yourself or someone close to you, consider donating it. Of course, pillows and appliances certainly apply as well. Make sure you call before you haul appliances though, some places will NOT take appliances. Here are some ideas to get you started: October – Warm Jackets and Blankets I picked this month to go through your jackets and blankets because it isn’t quite panic time in many parts of the country. We know that it will get VERY cold, VERY quickly. Going through your closets (and the kids’) to find jackets and blankets BEFORE there is a huge need makes more sense…to me anyway! Jackets are usually used for one season in this house. The kids grow so much from one winter to the next. And honestly, the jackets are kept in pretty good shape. I always offer them to friends first. But I’ve found that the older I get, the more I notice the kids at school getting out of the car with NO jackets!!!! Therefore, here is my list for giving jackets (I’ll get to blankets in a minute): Ok, now let’s talk about blankets – so many people need blankets. There are the usual places – homeless shelters. In general, just find a homeless person and give them a blanket. They aren’t going to turn it down. But there are some places you may not know need them: The bottom line is – don’t throw away those “less than” perfect blankets. Don’t give them to Goodwill – Give them away for FREE to people who shouldn’t have to PAY for them. Catch my drift???? Finish the year strong – November and December – Food and Toys/Books Like we did the previous months of our Challenge 2020 – 12 months of giving, keep in mind that these are the months that families are struggling to keep the lights on while figuring out how to play Santa. I read an article that said the Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots campaign will take “gently used” toys. They give them away in a different way than the “new, unwrapped” toys. How do you feel about this challenge? Can you do it? Something specific each month of the year, declutter your home and help someone in need…..sounds easy….right? Let’s do it!!!! Let me know what your ideas are!!!! Happy Giving,

INSIDE: LONG OVERDUE KIDS BATHROOM CLEAN UP WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK I am not going to lie…I don’t pay any attention to the kids bathrooms. Which is not smart because it also serves as the guest bathroom. Therefore, it is time for a kids bathroom clean up! The oldest kid is old enough to pick up after himself and no one else uses his bathroom. The girls have a Jack and Jill bathroom that guests use. Well, I have neglected it for several years for several reasons BUT today we tackle the issues and start planning a new decorating scheme. Disclosure Statement: The links in this post contain affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on my link. Those funds help keep this site alive and kickin’ but it doesn’t cost YOU a thing! Click here for the full disclosure. When we bought the house, we loved the idea of the girls having a bathroom in between their rooms AND separate sinks. I envision teenage years with LESS drama. The thing is….I never painted or hung a picture…I know you are shocked. I’m not really sure why I put off decorating rooms for so long. I haven’t done my own bedroom either….I’m a procrastinator, that’s why! So each girl has a sink and vanity in the main part of this bathroom. The toilet and shower have a separate smaller room with a door. The vanities are a problem. We have these lovely ladies that come every other Friday to clean the house. They literally move anything in their way and hide it in a drawer or cabinet. Well, this is what happens when they do that in little girl’s bathrooms. And the drawers aren’t much better. They gave up on trying to find anything in there. It was getting frustrating. They claimed they didn’t have enough toothpaste and hair ties, when I knew I just bought them some….it was time to take their bathroom back! Like every organizing project – 1 – Remove all items and PURGE! Empty bottles of hair spray, mouth wash, and shampoo were kept under the sink. There were cups and washcloths all over the place. So many useless things…in the trash, washer, or dishwasher. 2 – Organize like things Hair things in one place. Teeth things in one place. And so on…. 3 – Clean Wipe all sides of the cabinets and drawers with Mrs. Meyers. 4 – Replace Put everything back as you organized in step 2. Remember, it has to make sense to the user. I asked each girl how they wanted to organize their things. Of course, they needed a little guidance but they did a great job! We took a quick trip to The Dollar Tree and grabbed some plastic bins, organizers, and shelving separators and put them to work. I’m really proud of the girls and the end products. They picked some items at The Dollar Tree to use in the future…”like for hair dryers and curlers for when I’m 10.” Before and after: And now, they are ready to have a real bathroom. They want paint and mermaids, pictures and a real towel rack, AND rugs that match. It’s not too lofty of an idea. But I can’t keep all these things in my head anymore. So – I had to make a design board. I know, weird, right? But I found an app that helped me organize my thoughts with their thoughts and then I could get the end product that everyone was going to be happy with. I think we are getting somewhere with this. The cabinets are scratched and I really want to try my hand at painting them (even though there is a naysayer among us). If we stick with a gray, then we can match the master bath cabinets….yup, yup…making sense? The shower curtain and rug are currently in the bathroom. We want to keep it because it isn’t too kid-ish and incorporates all their favorite colors. I decided that I dislike painting. Probably why I let Kris do it most of the time. So….this is my starting place. More to follow. Sometimes cleaning and making things more organized can lead to bigger changes. BUT you have to start somewhere. Happy organizing,

INSIDE: FIND AN EASY PLACE TO START WHEN DECORATING OVERWHELMS YOU. When we moved into our home 5 years ago, we went from 1800 square feet to 4200 square feet. That alone should make your eyes 👀 bug! But we needed more space and this house had everything we wanted and more. We saw our family growing and maturing in this house. It was our opportunity to build a ‘forever’ home! Disclosure Statement: The links in this post contain affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on my link. Those funds help keep this site alive and kickin’ but it doesn’t cost YOU a thing! Click here for the full disclosure. Fast forward to 3 months after move in day. We had just purchased the living room couches and kitchen table. Not a picture was hung, not a wall painted, no rugs….we had our first visitors and they offered to help hang pictures for us. 😂😂 It was probably about that time when we realized we had bitten off way more than we could chew. We wanted to pick our own cabinet hardware, change out the carpets, upgrade the bathrooms on our own…aren’t we funny??? Needless to say, life got in the way and little by little our projects piled up until one day….we decided to decorate ONE room at a time. Enter – The half bath. Finding inspiration is an important part of room decoration. But the half bath? Do you really need INSPIRATION? Yes, yes you do. Everyone is different so YOU do YOU. This is what we did to get over the “overwhelming rooms to decorate” challenge. Our inspiration came from a picture we had hanging in our old house: I don’t know why but it relaxed me. SO we ran with this idea. What we needed: First – Paint Using Home Depot’s visualize your color tool….I was able to find a color that Kris and I agreed on and we set off to paint. Second – Shelving Once the paint was on the walls, I went to hang my picture and decided it didn’t match. However, my inspiration wasn’t gone. I went to Pinterest and started looking at half bath ideas. The BEST find was this: This website had step by step instructions and when I showed Kris, he immediately said, “I can make those!” And he did!!!! These shelves turned out amazing and I was able to finish my half bath based on his hard work. Next – Lighting Choosing the right lighting is essential in a bathroom. Not too bright, not too dark. We had nickel everywhere – lights, doorknobs, faucets….it was too much. Brushed bronze is more our style. So we went to our favorite Home Depot and found this gem. Fourth – New Faucets Now, we can’t have all the hardware bronze and leave the faucet nickel. During our trip to Home Depot, we came across this. Rest of the Decorations Here is what I used: Using what you have around the house makes decorating a blank slate a little less overwhelming. So I took some artwork the girls made with greens and blues, placed it into frames, and put it on the top shelf. I used a shadow box with pictures of our kids at the beach along with shells we collected at our favorite beach. The wicker basket was from the old house, and it worked perfectly to hold extra TP. I used a hurricane candle holder to mix sea glass with some orange starfish to create a one of a kind addition to this bathroom. I found towels and a rug at Target. Two of each sea blue and sand colored hand towels and a sand colored rug. I lucked out while at Homegoods one day and found ONE brown, tan, and aqua hand towel. It was perfect and the ONLY one I could find. I had one last project I wanted to complete for this room. A sand shell arrangement. I have NO IDEA where I found the shell but I added sand dollars, blue starfish, white starfish, and a few orange starfish. I used spray adhesive to make sure everything stayed put. When I said we went all out…I meant it. Problem was – we spent all our energy on this tiny room, we had nothing left for the rest of the house. Stay tuned to see how we remedied that! Start somewhere….even if it’s the smallest room in the house…

INSIDE: CHECK OUT BUDGET FRIENDLY TIPS FOR LINEN CLOSET MAKEOVER IN 2019 We all have closets that hold our towels….RIGHT?? What does your look like? I’ll show you mine….if you show me yours……wait, that didn’t come out right…..Anyway….welcome to how we simplified our linen closet, taking chaos to calm using easy steps. This closet is in the Jack and Jill bathroom between the girls bedrooms, but it also serves the guest room….therefore, it serves OUR GUESTS. However, it’s not very guest friendly right now. Things – they are a changin’! Disclosure Statement: The links in this post contain affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on my link. Those funds help keep this site alive and kickin’ but it doesn’t cost YOU a thing! Click here for the full disclosure. Current situation: Too many towels….too many sheets….do they even match? As always, start here: Remove and PURGE Sheets Take all the items out of the closet. I put mine on the bed closest to the closet. Match all the sheet sets…fitted sheet, flat sheet, and at least 2 pillowcases. That is how you buy them, as sets, makes sense right? This process made my pile dwindle to 2 queens sets and one twin set. Years ago, I worked at a hotel where I learned that rolling sheet sets up together helps store them so that pieces don’t go missing. Towels Find any ripped, stained, or smelly towels and trash them (give them to your favorite animal shelter….they can use them for all sorts of things!!) How many beach towels is too many? Asking for a friend…… Really, since we finished the pool, I don’t need these beach towels in here. They belong by the pool…. Blankets Get rid of any worthless (to you) blankets. HINT: see above comment about animal shelters. I found one of those bed buddy things for a twin bed…we have one twin bed and it’s in the form of a pullout loveseat. I don’t need this thing! Extra Personal Items I decided I’m a horrible hostess because I never have extra soap available for the guests using the GUEST bathroom. Since I keep hand soap on both sinks and there are toiletries (cotton swabs, cotton balls) in the drawers I just assumed that was enough….beginning to think I was wrong in that assumption! According to various sources, there should be fresh flowers, fancy decorations, and a robe and slippers. Well, I am not the Ritz and I think that my guests know that by now. I will think of something during this linen closet makeover. Organize Sheets I rolled up my “full sets” and placed them standing upright in these cute fabric bins. I kept a few extra pillowcases, some of them have sentimental value…..but only 2 per kid! Towels Separate washcloths and hand towels. I used these bins to store them. Sticking with the rolled up method because it leads to more efficient storage. Once I got rid of the icky towels, I needed some new ones….I went with gray and white. Extra Personal Items I decided to add a few things to make our guests not panic when they go to shower and all they have available is “Frozen” shampoo and body wash. Using these cute apothecary jars, I added some soap. AND made it easier to find cotton balls and cotton swabs. I also added some Mini Storage Bins for extra toilet paper and tissues. At least it looks a little more friendly now. Now for the before and after: Happy Organizing,

How to Complete a Master Bath Organize

INSIDE : SEE HOW TO COMPLETE A MASTER BATH ORGANIZE OVERALL. Today I will tackle my master bathroom….do any of you need help with this? It’s one of those areas that gets forgotten about…but really organizing it can make you feel like a put-together adult! When we built this house, one of our “MUST” haves was DUAL sinks. When we saw the model and this bathroom…..SOLD!!!! It works well for us to have completely separate areas! He takes care of his and I sort of take care of mine. Current situation: Disclosure Statement: The links in this post contain affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on my link. Those funds help keep this site alive and kickin’ but it doesn’t cost YOU a thing! Click here for the full disclosure. In my area, I have 2 Scentsy warmers, bath bombs (that are not even mine), storage containers just waiting to be used, and drawers that have no rhyme or reason. It is CLEAR that we need a master bath organize session. As always, start here: Purge First rule of Fight Club….I mean organization?!? PURGE!!!!! Ok – drawer by drawer we go. Pull everything out of the drawers and make use of the things you find. Take samples sizes, hotel size, and “I’ll never use this” gifts and put them into a plastic bag. This can include lotions, soaps, toothpaste, and tooth brushes (you know the one your dentist HAS to give you but they don’t clean teeth!!) and take them to the homeless shelter! Those folks will love getting these things. It doesn’t matter if you only have 2 of each….that means 2 people will have clean teeth and clean hair for tomorrow! Clean Once everything is out of the cabinets and drawers, wipe down the inside with Mrs. Meyers. It is important to wipe the handles and the outsides of our cabinets, DO NOT FORGET. Organize Always keep like things together – hand soaps together, lotions, hair stuff….you get the idea. For my master bath organize – I started with the drawers. I had some containers but clearly, I needed more. Supplies: Next drawer is my “someday I will lose weight and need to get rid of my stretch marks” drawer. I had a friend that sold this stuff and so I bought a ton to support her and then realized that there was no point in removing stretch marks if I was going to get more….After I’m done with school I will have time for a work out….I promise! I also keep any extra items here that I need to replace frequently, like razors, after shave gel, and replacement toothbrush heads. Moving to the other side of the sink. Rethinking the handiness of the drawers was a way to keep me organized. Place the most used things closest to me…or in the top drawers. And so on……. Next we move the the under the sink area. This was the largest purge area for me so I had to make sure it stayed free of clutter. I need to know what I have and do not buy duplicates! In the before picture, you saw a drawer system that I hadn’t started using yet….. So here is what I did: Overall, it was quite an improvement to my bathroom organization. I even did a quick clean up of the linen closet. Before: Using the same techniques used in the girls/guest linen closet, I made our linen closet in the master bath more presentable…even though no one else sees it! After: Now the befores and afters side by side: Left side is the new verison – right side is the older, more messy verison I know I am missing a HUGE part of a woman’s bathroom….makeup. Yes I wear it, a little bit but….I do wear it. So where do I keep mine? Using my Glamour Case from Thirty One, I store all my makeup on my countertop without the clutter. I keep a few other things on the countertop because it seems like the thing to do. I keep my rings corralled in my Thirty One Keepsake Tray. Now…..shelving and wall art for my spa master…..I think I will never feel like I’m done with my house. I guess that is ok!!!! Happy Organizing,
