Ever feel like that saying “He only gives you as much as you can handle,” is a crock of bologna? I have had a few of those….hence the lack of writing.

It’s been a rough week and it’s only Wednesday!

We had a dentist appointment that didn’t go as planned on Monday. Imagine that.

The oldest dog was put down on Tuesday.

We were supposed to leave for Utah today but middle child had other plans for her mama.

I forgot to do my homework….

The kids have standardized testing this week.

It’s teacher appreciation week. How did that happen to fall on the same week as Nurses Week?!?

The girls were supposed to have gymnastics class every day this week except Friday.

Oh then there’s the May birthdays. My Dad, step-MIL, FIL, my brother, and nephew!!! A few aunts thrown in there….sheesh!

Did I mention that this weekend is Mother’s Day?!?

How the heck can someone with this kind of schedule have a successful month?!?!

I don’t know…….

I’m winging it….

First things first, dental appointment was rescheduled and Dad has to come this time!

I miss my buddy…she was part of our family for 15 years, but we are working through it as a family. She is pain free and that is the important part!

Utah – we were given the airfare back as a credit to use whenever…the change fee was waived because I couldn’t go due to medical reasons. Poor Kris had to go alone though. I was looking forward to spa time, Jacuzzi tubs, and sleeping in….next time!

Medical problem – lice! I have a whole separate post about that!!

Standardized testing – early to bed, good breakfast, and do your best. That’s all there is!

Gymnastics – all classes rescheduled, which will cause busier weeks to come, but better safe than sorry.

I have a separate post for the Teacher’s gifts.

Finally, birthdays………………well, at this point, I think it is safe to say that everyone in our extended family knows they will get a card eventually! We will celebrate in person!

Here’s to a stopping point,
Cheers!
