Decorate for Valentine’s Day in 2019
Yes you should! Don’t go overboard like Christmas decor but a few hearts thrown about never hurt anyone!!! Let’s decorate for Valentine’s Day!
My mantle is not wide enough for what I have in mind so…..I’m going to use my entry way table. It’s a console table of sorts.
The console table keeps things in their place but gives a festive feel at the same time. Yes please! I feel this way about my front door also. I like that my neighbors can walk by and see that we’re festive.

Sorry, I digress. Console table – I found this great vase at Target that matches the colors in that room…..I can just change out the flowers as the seasons change.
Since I love tulips and it’s becoming Spring (around here at least), I went with these tulips for my Valentine’s vase.
I decided to do a little craft to decorate for Valentine’s Day!
DIY Heart Tree
Supplies
Directions
- If you have hardwood trees in your yard, you (or the kids) can collect the sticks there. I don’t have any so I purchased mine here.
- Place your sticks into your vase.
- Randomly select branches and stick your felt heart stickers to them.
The front door decor was easy – hang a sign and call it a day. Almost every holiday has a sign….I already have my next 2 lined up (St. Patty’s and Easter) boom!
What do you do to decorate for this happy holiday? Do the kids get involved?
