How to Organize Your Bathroom Drawers

That is how I feel every time I open my bathroom drawers. Seriously, have you ever thought about how much your cluttered bathroom drawers have an impact on your day? Literally you start your day with this:

I have to fight with these drawers every morning…….and half of the things I need for daily use are on my countertops. This is just not working for me anymore.

I decided that my previous attempts to organize were not terrible but rather ill-managed. AND I have tooooooo much STUFF!!!!

PURGE

Pull everything out, lay it all out there, for everyone to see…and then get rid of what you don’t use, has expired, or you don’t want.

I emptied one drawer at a time and by the end of it, I covered my sink and my hubby’s sink….and some of the floor. I didn’t put anything back until I was done, BUT I tried to keep like things near each other.

Clean

Organize

I had so much fun with this. AND you can too. Want to see all the things I got??? My kids call it a “haul.”

The rest of my containers came from HomeGoods – I could wander around that place for hours. I paid $4.99 for each of them.

Here is a picture of all my options:

It’s also a good picture of what the counters looked like before.

Next step, start putting things back one drawer at a time, keeping like things together and being mindful about how often you use them.

Wanna see the side by sides? Me too….I love the changes and they were so easy!

I threw away a full garbage bag full of expired, unused, or pointless items. Many things were put where they should have gone to begin with….sock/slippers….don’t belong in the bathroom drawers, am I right? I also had 2 hairdryers, I don’t know why. I only use one, so one was given away (along with some face care items that didn’t work for me).

So much more function and I don’t feel like a clown will pop out of the drawer when I open it.
