Yesterday I tackled my unruly closet, today is part 2 of our master closet makeover – husband’s closet – and this time I have nothing to be embarrassed about…..because it’s all HIS!!!!!!!!!!!!! BWHAHAHAHAHAH

I really don’t know how he finds the jeans he wants…..or why they are even up there?
The top of the dresser seems to be the place where clothes go after they are washed, dried, and folded….cause they look folded right?

Same process as with my closet.

Remove and PURGE

Get everything out of the closet and put it on the bed. Start weeding through the “un-wearables.” I found an old suit that had holes in it and his first suit jacket……oh the shoulder pads!!!!

Organize

Next, I separated polos, dress shirts, casual shirts, jeans, and dress pants. 2 garbage bags to the Goodwill….they almost made it before he got home! When he saw what I removed, he stepped in and put some of them back…BOO!

When putting everything back into the closet, be sure to keep like things together.

I even shared some of bins for the top of the closet. I put his sweaters in there. However, the sweatshirts didn’t get a bin.
I did not go through his dresser. I probably should
have….you can see the 3rd drawer can’t even close

Before and afters:

We don’t use the dog kennel, so that’s hubby’s job (and go through the shoes)
I didn’t know I had picture frames on his dresser….not even sure why they are there?

Two great things came out of our master closet makeover – I convinced hubby that we need NEW closet organization systems AND I know what he has – thus shopping for him is no longer impossible.

What does your closet look like? Would you be embarrassed to share it with us?

Happy Organizing,
